Night Searchers are trained in night search operations. This fills the need for trained night searchers and predawn scouting for day searches.

Pathfinder

Trainer : Captain James Leonard

Pathfinders are trained in ground based aircraft operations. This fills the need for trained Aircraft LZ specialists and Aircraft Communicators.

Sapper

Trainer : Captain Dan Hendrick

Sappers are trained in the proper use and techniques of rope work operations. This fills the need for the rope operations in the many hills and sand dunes of Michigan.

• Rope safety
• Rappelling

• Navigation
• 1^st Aid and CPR Certified

Amphibious

Trainer : Captain Jeremy Werner

Amphib Rangers are trained in water search operations.  This fills the need for the maritime operations in the many miles of rivers, creeks, and lakes of Michigan.

Cross Training in:

• Water Safety
• Small Boat Operations
• Engine/non engine
• Water Navigation - Day or Night
• Ice Rescue Operations
• 1^st Aid and CPR Certified
